HEIDE LINDGREN/NEW YORK CITY
Sustainable Fashion

Heide Lindgren has been a highly successful professional model working in the fashion industry for the past 15 years and is also currently pursuing a degree in Business. She has worked for iconic brands such as Guess and has been featured in magazines including Elle, GQ, Cosmopolitan, and Marie Claire.

As a fashion model, Heide has traveled the world, allowing her to experience some of the most beautiful and meaningful places and people on earth. This has provided her with a deep appreciation of life and nature as well as compassion for all living things.

Heide commitment to making a difference in the world is evidenced through her work in and outside of the fashion industry. She co-founded a non-profit organization in 2011, Models 4 Water, whose sole purpose was to raise money to drill water wells in West Africa. In 2014, she traveled to Haiti to teach English with English in Mind Institute and discovered Deux Mains Designs, a small workshop where artisan owners turn discarded tires and local leathers into custom sandals. Heidi has since launched her own signature line of sandals for the company where she also serves as a model and Advisory Board Member.

Heide’s passion for sustainable materials and fashion, makes her an invaluable asset to Ports of Causes’ commitment to Sustainable Luxury TM. Her contacts within the fashion and modeling industry will help POC stay on the cusp of cutting-edge, progressive sustainable design alternatives.
